Theme Ledger ("the app") is provided by Native User, operated by Ben Aharoni ("we"). This policy explains what the app collects from a Shopify store that installs it, and why.
The app asks for one permission: read access to your themes. It reads the files of the theme you choose so it can compare them with Shopify's Dawn theme. The app cannot change, publish or delete a theme.
Your store's myshopify.com address; the name and id of the theme you analyzed; the report we produce, which includes short excerpts of your theme's code; the id, time and amount of a report purchase; a record of the steps taken in the app (for example "analysis started", "report opened"); and the access session Shopify issues to the app.
We do not collect or store information about your customers, your orders or your products. We do not use cookies for advertising.
To produce and show your report, to confirm a purchase with Shopify, to provide support, and to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your data and we do not use your theme code for any other purpose.
Purchases are made through Shopify's billing system. We never see your payment details.
The app runs on servers operated by Fly.io in the United States. Shopify provides the platform the app runs inside. We share data with no one else.
Reports and usage records are kept while the app is installed, so you can reopen a report you bought. When you uninstall the app, your access session is deleted at once, and your reports and usage records are erased when Shopify sends us its store-erasure request after the uninstall.
You can ask us at any time to delete your reports or to send you a copy of what we hold, by writing to support.nativeuser@gmail.com. Depending on where you are, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA.
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
